Pros: Sometimes they use words like ajar and diminutive and prepossessing in real conversations and get funny looks and you can poke fun at their little slip in cover. You know exactly where to find them when they go missing from society: bookshops and in the quiet section of the library. Conversations sound nicer. Exchanging letters sound nicer. Words between you two always sound better than normal conversations. Birthdays are wonderful because they always give the nicest and most sincere letters. And you have someone to appreciate just sitting and reading and drinking coffee with because they like it as much as you do. And they get it. They just do.
Cons: It’s a bit infuriating when someone can say the things you’ve been trying hopelessly to say so effortlessly.
this is me with all my writer friends. i have too many of them, they just understand why going to bookstores are so much fun!

the fact that Rachel and Sarah take up so much of my crushes is indicative of my life as a whole.
