Earlier tonight, I found a blog post an old friend wrote. We’ll call her Rose. I called Rose my best friend and even lived with her for a little over six months. When we stopped being friends, we stopped being friends hard and loud. I’m still trying to recover my sense of vulnerability in my current relationships (and hell, in my life in general) largely because things ended so painfully with her.

Once again, writing about being fifteen and in love brings back some memories.
Day 241 || August 30, 2011
I finally made it back to Chicago and was reunited with these beautiful people. <3 We had an intense Girl Talk session which lasted late into the night. We took a walk that brought us to a gazebo in the park at around 3 in the morning. I just…I love them. SO much.
Oh hey, look! My best friends! We’re what they call adorable.
This night Sarah and I pretended to be Tegan and Sara for a project for Liz.
Rachel came back to Chicago yesterday, bringing back with her a gust of hope that August will be less lonesome. But there’s still an empty space where Sarah belongs.
I have truly met the greatest people while being here.

- 8/25: Death Cab (aka the band that changed everything)
- 8/30: Sarah comes back
I mean, I know that isn’t a lot, but those are pretty fucking epic things.
I’m hoping August is awesome.
This is me about 5 or 6 months ago. I forgot about it but now here it is again.
this makes me miss the girls of 1625 so much!
the fact that Rachel and Sarah take up so much of my crushes is indicative of my life as a whole.
